[AMBER] AmberTools 12 Build Issue

I have installed Cygwin on a Windows 7 box. Following the guideline from
Jason Swails web page, I made sure all the appropriate packages were
installed.

The configure step for Ambertools went well - save it did not find the X11
libraries/home. I edited that into the config.h file. No problems so far.

When I run make install, I run into a problem with the mtkpp build. The
install simply dies at this point.

I examined the mtkpp_config.log file and most of the configuration step
went well, until the end. I see the following errors:

checking Boost version... 1-38

Cannot find log4cxx

checking for X... libraries , headers
checking QTDIR... configure: WARNING: QTDIR is not defined

Using TinyXML provided with MTK++

checking for doxygen... yes
checking for latex... no

checking for gcc option to accept ISO C99... unsupported
checking for gcc option to accept ISO C89... (cached) none needed
checking for gcc option to accept ISO Standard C... (cached) none needed
ERROR: this platform is not supported at this time!

Do I need to install latex and dot? Are there additional packages for gcc
I need to install on cygwin?
And what is log4cxx? Is there a deeper problem with this install?

Thanks.
