We haven't tracked newer pnetcdf distributions, which I guess would better
keep up with changes in gnu software tools.
FWIW, pnetcdf is going away with the next release (due out in March) since it
is only useful in very specialized circumstances. But we test parallel builds
on lots of machines, and I'm a little surprised that it fails on CentOS 5.
But I guess it depends on the version of bison and m4...
