No,no,no!! Amber should not have dependencies on bash. I know they sneak in,
but they are bugs. Please code to POSIX standards, and be nice to the BSD
folks, if nothing else. (And, you can be pretty sure that some vendor,
probably named IBM, will soon ship a super-fancy machine with no bash.)
