This has come up before: http://archive.ambermd.org/201007/0347.html and
follow the thread. Basically, AmberTools 1.2 doesn't work on 64 bit gnu
compilers (although knowing which version of gcc you have might help.).

The only known (to me!) workarounds are to compile a 32-bit version, or
(better) upgrade to AmberTools 1.5.
