It possible(?) that solaris "make" doesn't allow comment lines inside a
target. You might try removing them to see what happens.

If you have gcc, that's the most likely to work. You might also see if
you have (or can get) GNU make (sometimes called gmake) and use that
instead of Sun's make. AmberTools *should* compile with solaris
compilers, but this has not been nearly so widely tested as the GNU
compilers, and might depend upon version number (for both Amber and cc), etc.
