Hi Jena,
There should be no problems, you are safe to simply continue with Amber 9
using the same prmtop, restart files etc from the Amber 8 run.

I have a 2 ns trajectory obtained with amber8 and now I want to extend this
MD simulation for more ns with amber9. Is there any problem of compatibility
or should I start the simulation from the beginning with amber9?
