Dear all,

I am trying to compile AMBER (version9) on a SGI IRIX64 origin 6.5 with
SGI mips compiler.

I installed it as follows:
***************
$ ./configure sgi_mips
AMBERHOME is set to /data/users/ruchi/amber9
Setting up Amber configuration file for architecture: sgi_mips
Using parallel communications library: none

The configuration file, config.h, was successfully created.
*****************

Things are fine till this step. Then I compiled it,

*************
$ make serial
Starting installation of Amber9 (serial) at Wed Jul 18 20:09:15 PDT 2007.
         cd lib; make install
         /lib/cpp -P -DSGI -DnoVDINVSQRT new2oldparm.f > _new2oldparm.f
         f90 -c -n32 -mips4 -r16000 -O0 -o new2oldparm.o _new2oldparm.f
f90 ERROR parsing -r16000: unknown flag
*** Error code 2 (bu21)
*** Error code 1 (bu21)
******************

I got above error. I searched through archive but could not find any
solution. Can anybody please tell me how to fix this error?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance
