The intel compilers work fine with IA32 AMD chips and also with opterons in
32bit mode.

However, you may have problems with such an old version of RedHat. Probably
best to upgrade this first. Check intel's site for the versions of Linux
(actually the version of GLIBC) that the Intel compilers support.
