.... there are also two shellscripts (ifortvars.csh and ifortvars.sh).
Working with the (t)csh, you should enter
"source /opt/intel_fc_80/bin/ifortvars.csh"
once done, ifort and the like are in your PATH and a bunch
of additional environment variables are set, so that the compiler works.
ifort itself is just a shell scripts that also sets some variables
and then invokes ifortbin.
