You can try unlimiting all the memory variables shown by 'limit':
datasize 16777216 kbytes
stacksize 1048576 kbytes
memoryuse 16455544 kbytes
vmemoryuse 16777216 kbytes
However on this machine I'm on (Tru64 UNIX V5.1A) it has no effect,
so it may be necessary to talk to your sysadmin.
