error in restrt file

Hi,

I am running DNA in a water box, with periodic conditions and PME,
and after a while I get an error format in the restrt file,
because some of the field have gotten too big for the allowed format,
and I get '****'
in their place.
Does any body know what causes this, whether it is a good idea to change
the format of the restrt file or not?
