I have recently read papers in which the authors state that they estimated
solute entropy from calculating normal modes (Srinivasan, et al. J. Amer. Chem
Soc. 120:9401-9409). I know I need to brush up on my thermodynamics, but
how do you relate the normal mode frequencies to the entropy? Thank you all
